The Prankster Prince Series

Epic Fantasy with a helping of Sugar and a spoonful of Spice
(politics, economics... and snark - but still nice!)

(A very small helping of spice in this series - and it's mostly cinnamon, maybe a little cardamom and nutmeg)

Serious, funny, and spell-binding: you will fall in love with these characters!

Suggested reading order is left-to-right: begin with

SNARKY HUMOR THAT WILL HAVE EVERYONE LAUGHING... (but the kids and adults may be laughing at different things...)

The next book in the Series - A Court of Mists and Misadventures - will be available in March 2025.

Thony and the Much-Anticipated Adventure

Fifteen-year-old Crown Prince,
and inveterate prankster,
Thony decides to go on a quest
to find a princess to marry
in order to save his country.

Thony Goes Astray!

(in the Deep, Dark, and Dangerous Fairy Wood)

Prince Thony, the stable-girl Amanita,
and the unicorn Twinklestar make their way
through the Fairy Wood to another world.

So You Want to Be a Hero?

Thony and Amanita (and Twinklestar)
are faced with an Evil WIzard's army...
and possibly even worse, another kid-prankster!

How Thony Stopped a War (and Saved a Friendship)

Push has come to shove -
Thony (and Amanita and
Dae and their friends)
must stop Valderon Raven'sWing's
plans NOW, before he actually
DOES conquer the known universe!

Diary of a Runaway Prince Bold Questing Hero)

Thony helped save the known universe.
Now he (and Amanita and Puck and
Amanita's brother, Daffyd) are headed
back to her home in Pathremir...
where they don't like guys too much...
And he's still made no progress
on finding that princess.

A Court of Mists and Misadventures

Thony has made it to Amanita’s
homeland… where there are no
princesses other than her (um, no),
the problem is that leaving
might not be as easy as getting there….

What’s a Crown Prince to do?

The Devinthal royal family of Aldyrwald has become just a little too unconventional for their neighbors. The two older princesses (one of whom has a bushy black tail) are claiming they are honest-to-goodness Goddesses (along with the middle-born prince of the next kingdom over, who secretly married the oldest princess). And the youngest child of the family, Crown Prince Anthony the Affable and the Affirmative (or rather ‘Thony’ – he hates all that extra nonsense), seems to think that the proper way to deal with anything is to setup an elaborate prank.

The neighbors have turned their backs, leaving King Bill and Queen Annabel no choice but to Thony to a much older princess. If fourteen-year-old Thony should die without an Heir, Aldyrwald will become part of the princess’ home-kingdom… which gives her family a considerable incentive to speed the process up.

Clearly, Thony has no other option than to run away from home, go through the Fairy Wood to another world, and seek out a princess with less of a desire to off him. And never mind that he thinks girls are pretty icky and boring.

Well, except for his best friend… who just happens to have come to Aldyrwald through the Fairy Wood herself…
